As a general rule there are two categories of users of the Site and Services: "Publishers/Developers" who are operators or publishers of applications (apps) that make the shareSDK sharing platform available on their mobile apps, and "End Users" who are individual users of an apps and use the shareSDK sharing platform to share an app’s content with others. By visiting the Site or using the Services, you are accepting the policies and practices described in this Privacy Policy.

Privacy Practices for Visitors to the shareSDK Site

(a) The Information We Gather and How We Use it: The Site is primarily directed to Publishers/Developers, although we welcome End Users who want to know more about our Services. When you access the Site or Services, we may collect the following information:

• Personal Information - We collect Personal Information when you knowingly provide it, including when you register for the Site, provide feedback, or request information. Personal Information is information that may be used to identify or locate an individual, like a person’s full name, postal address, e-mail address, or phone number, as well as other non-public information that is associated with this Personal Information. We use your Personal Information to administer your account and provide you services, to send communications and administrative emails, to respond to your inquiries, and to send marketing and product update messages to those who ask for such messages. Typically, Publishers/Developers, rather than End Users visit the Site in order to access and register for the Services.

• Non-Personally Identifiable Information - We collect Non-Personally Identifiable Information automatically when you visit our Site. Non-Personally Identifiable Information is information that is not used nor intended to be used to personally identify an individual and is not associated with nor linked to Personal Information. This Non-Personally Identifiable Information we collect via the Site includes your Internet Protocol address, browser type, browser language, the date and time of your request, and the web page you have visited immediately prior to visiting the Site.

• Cookies - We use Cookies on this Site. "Cookies" are small pieces of information that a website sends to your computer's web browser while you are viewing a website. Privacy Practices for End Users who use the shareSDK Sharing Menus on Publisher/Developer Apps

As part of the Service, we operate the shareSDK sharing platform, which makes sharing content on Apps easy!  You are probably familiar with our sharing menus that allow End Users of Publishers/Developers Apps to easily share content through email, social networking websites, blogs and much more. When you, an End User use one of our menus that is enabled on one of our Publisher/Developer Apps (an “shareSDK Menu”), we collect certain non-personally identifiable information automatically for use on our platform (the “shareSDK Platform”). We enable our Publishers/Developers to use this information via the Platform for analytics purposes.

(a) The Information We Gather and How We Use It:

• Personal Information - We only collect Personal Information via a shareSDK Menu when an End User provides it to us, and never use that information on the shareSDK Platform for delivering targeted advertising. When you, an End User, send an email using an shareSDK Menu we use your email address, the email address of the person (or people) to whom you are sending the content and allow you the opportunity to write an accompanying message. We use this Personal Information only to send the email on your behalf and for no other purpose and it is not merged or otherwise combined with any of the Non-Personally Identifiable Information that we collect. This Personal Information will be available to the people to whom you send or share content via the shareSDK Menu, so please be careful.

• Non-Personally Identifiable Information - We collect Non-Personally Identifiable Information via the shareSDK Menu for use on the shareSDK Platform. For example, when you use an App that contains one of our shareSDK Menus, our server logs collect your Internet Protocol address, browser type, browser language, the date and time you visited that App.

(b) Information Sharing.

We generally don’t share Personal Information collected via the shareSDK Menu except as specifically directed by the End User in order to share a piece of content via email or via social networking platform. We share information collected via the shareSDK Menu with other companies or individuals as follows:

• We share Non-Personally Identifiable Information with the App Publishers/Developers who have the shareSDK Menu enabled in their Apps for their own Apps analytics purposes. For example, we provide our publishers with statistics on sharing trends, so that Publishers/Developers can understand how End Users are sharing their content, as well as how much traffic such sharing brings back to the Publisher’s/Developer’s App. Publishers/Developers can use filters to refine the data.

• We share any information we have with third parties if we have a good faith belief that disclosure of such information is reasonably necessary to (a) satisfy applicable law, regulation, legal process or an enforceable governmental request, (b) enforce the applicable Terms of Service, including investigation of potential violations thereof, (c) detect, prevent, or otherwise address fraud, security or technical issues, or (d) protect against harm to the rights, property or safety of sahreSDK LLC, its End Users or the public as required or permitted by law.

• With any of our subsidiaries, joint ventures, or other companies under common control with us, in which case we will require them to honor this policy. Additionally, in the event we go through a business transition such as a merger, acquisition by another company, or sale of all or a portion of our assets, we expect that any and all information that we have will be among the assets transferred.

• In addition, we may aggregate your Non-Personally Identifiable Information with the Non-Personally Identifiable Information of others and share that aggregated information with third parties.

Information Security

We take reasonable security measures to protect against unauthorized access to or unauthorized alteration, disclosure or destruction of data. These include firewalls and encryption, internal reviews of our data collection, storage and processing practices and security measures, as well as physical security measures to guard against unauthorized access to systems.

Children

We do not knowingly collect or maintain Personal Information from individuals who are under 13 years of age, and no part of our Site or Services are designed to attract people under the age of 13. The Site and Services are hosted in the United States.
